About
I’m an Elixir developer currently working as a principal developer at Scoville, Tokyo. On my own time, I’ve authored libraries such as Flop, Flop Phoenix, Doggo, and Let Me, and created an SCSS starter kit called Tinnef. Additionally, I have a background in music, playing the bass guitar and upright bass.
My current language of choice is Elixir, using Phoenix LiveView for rich user interfaces and SCSS for styling. I also have previous professional experience with Golang, Elm, and React.
In my work, I draw insights from various methodologies and frameworks, such as domain-driven design, event storming, or user story mapping. Systems thinking has influenced my perspective on feedback loops, incentives, and the broader dynamics at play in companies, teams, and projects.
Embracing a diverse toolkit and a philosophy that values clarity and simplicity, I constantly seek to reduce friction in systems and teams, always looking for the best angle to address a challenge. This approach is shaped by my belief in creating work environments that foster collaboration and adaptability, ensuring that every team member can thrive.
